Communities change and communities grow. That’s the case on the NCETM portal just as it is in the ‘real’ world. To make sure our Communities page reflects the issues that are important to you, we are launching some new ones and archiving others that have run their course.

Bowland Maths is a new initiative providing a series of innovative case studies to appeal to pupils at Key Stage 3. They are interactive with open questions, requiring problem solving skills, imagination and a degree of teamwork. They are complemented by five Professional Development modules for teachers. This community is for discussing the materials.
This is a community for sharing good practice in the use of ICT in teaching and learning mathematics. Use this community to share resources and lesson plans. A commentary on research findings and how they can be implemented in the classroom may also be shared through our community.
