Research Case Studies

Entering into Symbols was researched by Alan Graham, Sue Johnston Wilder and Roger Duke working with Warwickshire schools. It aimed to help teachers of mathematics to integrate ICT use into their more general teaching aims and practices using a strategy based on Bruner's 'EIS' model.

Adam Boddison, based at the University of Warwick, is carrying out research focusing on Video Conferencing for Mathematics; Enrichment for Able Children in Year 6.   As a result he aims to develop a 'practitioner's guide', aimed at supporting teachers using similar technology in schools.
