Hi

I am currently developing www.maths-starters.co.uk .

The website provides a selection of timed Maths starters. The starters are designed to provide practice at a range of numeracy skills. Each starter can be differentiated by the input values. The website can generate the values, mark and display answers.

Feedback is welcome.

Regards

Edward Harrison

These are great, it is impressive that this has been created in your spare time. If you have any more ideas that involve data handling please let me know.

I have tried the starters and they are perfect. I use the cascade the most.

Can't thank you enough for this great resource.

Thanks for the nice comment. I have used calculate cascade with a top set year 10 before. They wanted to know how it always worked, so I got them to put x in the top on paper and work it out. (The website can't handle letters on that starter!).

Please spread the word to other teachers and feel free to link to it from school website etc (helps with my google rank).

Regards

Edd

Glad you like them. Data handling is deffinitely a hole in the collection. Two-way tigers was an attemp to get some dh in there. Data handling generally doesn't fit the format of the other starters. Watch this space.

That is fantastic Edward! We are all going to use this every day now. Are you still developing it as I've noticed a few are still being developed. Thanks again, amazing!

Cheers

David

Thanks David. I am still developing it, but I have no time during term. The two under construction are planned, I am hoping to make progress over the Summer. Please spread the word.

Edd

This is great. I notice it was created in 2014. Is there an updated version available? Many Thanks
