Key Ideas in Teaching Mathematics website

We hope the Key Ideas in Teaching Mathematics website is useful: http://www.nuffieldfoundation.org/key-ideas-teaching-mathematics

This website takes each of the ‘key ideas’ in the mathematics curriculum and provides research-based guidance about teaching these ideas to 9- to 19- year-olds. Each idea is broken down into several themes, each of which has links to relevant online activities and resources that exemplify the approaches presented.

If it looks useful, then the bit.ly KITM short-cut might be a helpful short-cut; try: http://bit.ly/kitm

The relevant online activities and resources can also be accessed via resource packages on the National STEM Centre website at https://www.stem.org.uk/lxgca Users are required to log into the site to access the resource packages.

Please note: This link was updated on 23 Sept 2016. The old link did not work. All the resources are now available on the new National STEM Learning Centre website
