GCSE to A-level Transition

SiggyLee 08 January 2018 14:40

I am teaching GCSE and A-level maths at a college along side my teaching qualification, for which I have to write a project about the transition between GCSE and A-level maths, and I would like your input.

If you could help me and take some time to answer the questions below it would be very much appreciated. It can be in general or maths specific.

Why do you think learners struggle with the transition?

What do they struggle with?

What do you do to help them?

If they withdraw, what are their reasons for doing so?
