Nursery Curriculum

I am looking into building a Nursery curriculum which will progress into our Reception curriculum (based on white rose) and onto KS1 again currently using White Rose material.

Any top tips on research places or any nursery curriculums anyone is willing to share?  I am looking at Development Matters, NRICH, GLOWHub and the Numberblocks work on here.

Thank you, C

There is a nursery curriculum already, it is EYFS. It is well thought through and is our national approach to this vital stage of education. If you take account of the characteristics of effective learning you won't go wrong. It has the benefit of fitting in with all schemes and KS1 initiatives but can stand well on its own, being based on experience and research.

Please ask yourself if this is about what is best for your children, or what is best for KS1 aspirations?

This is an add-on to my post earlier today! I quite agree with the above, and it was what I was drving at when I mentioned being wary (as in, refusing to engage in!) of curricula material watered down from 'above'. The CoEL&T are statutory and referring to this when planning maths will involve your children in deep mathematical thinking.
