Hi secondary mathematics folks :- )

Entries for the Young Mathematical Story Author (YMSA) competition are now open today (Monday 7th January 2019) till Friday 29th March 2019.

YMSA is an annual international competition set up to encourage young mathematics learners (8-13 years old) from around the world to embed their mathematics learning in a meaningful and engaging context through creating their own mathematical story picture book. This competition is organised by MathsThroughStories.org (my non-profit research-based initiative).

The winner in each of the two entry categories will receive an award of £100, and their school will also receive £100. The Stuart J. Murphy Award and The Cindy Neuschwander Award are kindly sponsored by HarperCollins and Charlesbridge respectively.

For more details, please visit https://www.mathsthroughstories.org/competitions.html#

Please help spread the word about this competition!

Best wishes,

Vince
