Hi there‚Äč

My name is Peter Grindrod ( grindrod@maths.ox.ac.uk)and I am a maths professor at U of Oxford. I run a group containing many large UK-based companies: Tesco, e.on, Sainsbury's, Barclays, Unilever, HSBC, GSK, BT, IBM, SSE, PwC, Deloitte, Elsevier/RELX, The Guardian and lots, lots, more.

We are all Data Sciences people and some of these companies wish to offer Data Science apprenticeships. These will lead to great careers across many sectors. The UK has a national shortage of data scientists.

Can we engage with Maths Teachers so as to raise the profile of Data Science within the UK and encourage school maths students to get involved?

How do I do this?

Please reach out

Pete
