Microteach - is this a fair request?

An interview has asked for a 2hr lesson plan, with resources for the panel to keep as well as a 10min presentation.

Is this fair?  Usually I am asked for 15-30mins.  If they have all that information they can very easily decide they dont need me at the end of it, as they know exactly what I do.

You don't say what the job is but this is quite typical for FE posts. A 2 hour lesson may be the only time a topic  is covered so it allows you to show the development of work from the beginning (& checking prior knowlekdge) and up to exam questions. There is also an opportunity to show a range of activities to engage learners. I hope this is helpful even if your interview isn't in FE. Best wishes.
