Cambridgeshire Maths Conference 2019


An inspiring and hands-on event for primary and secondary school teachers, featuring: 
Mike Askew - Gareth Metcalfe - Craig Barton - Ems Lord - Ed Southall

This one-day conference, for primary and secondary school teachers of maths, aims to explore effective strategies for teaching mathematics so that teachers can develop effective pedagogy in practice.

Featuring workshops and talks by experts, including:

  • Professor Mike Askew - internationally renowned speaker and author of Transforming Primary Mathematics
  • Gareth Metcalfe (I See Maths) - author of 'I See Reasoning' and leading CPD provider
  • Ed Southall - secondary school teacher, national speaker and CPD leader, author of 'Yes, But Why?' and 'Geometry Snacks'
  • Craig Barton (mrbartonmaths.com) - secondary school teacher, national speaker, presenter of the Mr Barton Maths Podcast, author of 'How I Wish I'd Taught Maths' and co-founder of DiagnosticQuestions.com
