Teacher Enquiry Funded Projects

Teacher Enquiry Funded Projects (TEFP)

The TEFPs were suitable for teachers keen to undertake action research focused on a particular area of their teaching.

Funding for Teacher Enquiry Funded Projects was for a maximum of £5 000. 40% of the funding was given out following a successful application and the final 60% was given out upon completion of a final project report. All TEFPs ran for approximately 9 months (from May until the following January).

Each project had a dedicated NCETM Regional Coordinator to advise and support them during the lifecycle of the project. Every TEFP has a page on the portal where the abstract of the project is published and the final report at the end. Therefore the whole of the NCETM community was able to follow the progress of the projects throughout the year and post comments and promote discussion.

The last round of TEFP applications closed in March 2010. To find out more about funded projects, please contact your regional coordinator.

Funding for these projects have now closed, and we are no longer accepting any further applications. Details of current funding can be found on the Funded Projects page.
