Departmental Workshops: Constructing equations
This module concentrates on the formation and solution of equations. It uses activities and approaches found on the Excellence Gateway to establish an approach to teaching algebra. There are many opportunities to help learners to master algebra by promoting discussion whilst they create posters or complete card activities.

Circular Geoboard and Square Pegboard
A free interactive resources for the whiteboard. Enables you to create circular geoboards with different numbers of pegs on the circumference and with or without a centre peg. Equation Editor added to NCETM Portal
The WYSIWIG editor used for writing blogs, comments, forum posts etc now has an equation editor included, allowing more complex mathematical formulae and equations to be displayed. Please note this is currently only available via the Internet Explorer browser.
