Our work in more detail

The NCETM, set up in 2006, is managed by a consortium of Tribal Education and Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI). It is funded by the Department for Education (DfE).

We support all schools and colleges, and all individuals and organisations engaged in maths-specific CPD. This support is principally channelled through the Maths Hubs Programme, which we lead. A central element of which this the Teaching for Mastery Programme.

In parallel to the face to face work contained in the numerous Maths Hubs programme projects, we continue, through our website, to provide support for all teachers of maths and all working within the school maths community. From Early Years through to Adult Education, all those involved in teaching maths are considered stakeholders of the NCETM.
