The NCETM is pleased to publish today a report into the use of digital technologies in mathematics classrooms. Pointing the way to many excellent resources for the use of technology in the mathematics classroom, the report goes on to make 8 recommendations for the NCETM with regard to the use of digital technologies. Some of these recommendations have already been carried out, for example, the NCETM online magazines carry regular items on the use of ICT in the mathematics classroom. Others will be seen over the next year as a new microsite is published and developed. The microsite will include a self evaluation matrix for the use of ICT in the primary and secondary phases, developed by the NCETM in collaboration with BECTA.
