PLEASE NOTE: THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS NOW PASSED, AND NO NEW APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED

The Maths Hubs Network needs to expand the pool of people with the skills and capacity to lead maths-specific professional development activities for groups of teachers.

To that end, the NCETM, working with Maths Hubs, is seeking applications from teachers and others with experience in maths teaching to take part in a programme this academic year, leading to the nationally recognised designation of NCETM Accredited PD Lead.

There are three tailored versions of the programme: for those with primary, secondary, and A- level experience. Each consists of three face-to-face days (two days in the 2018 spring term; one day in the second half of the 2018 summer term) and a series of in-school and independent planning and study tasks spread over the academic year. They are part of the Maths Hub Network’s strategy to build up a group of Professional Development Leads who can support the work of hubs in every school and college phase.

Full information and the application form can be found here.

The closing date for returning applications to the NCETM is Tuesday 14 November.
