PLEASE NOTE: booking has now closed for both conferences, and information is shown for informaton only.

Booking is now open for two, free-to-attend conferences, organised by the NCETM and the Maths Hubs Network, aimed at maths education professionals whose roles include supporting or running professional development activities beyond their own institutions.

The term increasingly being used to describe these people is Local Leaders of Maths Education (LLME) and they include:

  • Maths SLEs,
  • registered NCETM accredited PD Leads,
  • Maths Hub Work Group Leads (including Mastery Specialists),
  • independent and local authority advisers or consultants,
  • HEI maths education staff.

There are two conferences:

The conferences will feature a session on Level 3 maths, led by the NCETM’s Director, Charlie Stripp, sessions led by the NCETM’s Director for Primary, Debbie Morgan, and Director for Secondary, Carol Knights, and opportunities for those attending to network with others leading maths-specific professional development. Lunch will be provided.

Full programme and booking information are available for Manchester and London.
