The link to the Waldo Maths website is working correctly. However, you may wish to check with your school technical department, to find out if the configuration of your computer network has been set to block access to the site. This could be the reason why you are unable to access the web page. Please note that NCETM are not responsible for the content of external web pages.

These applets are ideal for stimulating whole class or even small group activity and discussion of the 'try it' (ie use the interactive whiteboard yourself) or 'let's see' variety. The range of topics covered hits an amazing number of spots in the curriculum where understanding can be shallow. Thanks for developing and maintaining, over a number of years, a resource that you know is effective for learners in all the best ways.

I was amazed and delighted to see my site as the subject of a blog. Yes, waldomaths is mine. It is a free resource maintained by a real maths teacher, who welcomes any comments, positive and negative.
Shortly it will undergo several changes, mostly aimed at making it ,ore useful as a classroom resource on IWBs. Many applets will appear in two sizes to satisfy different screen resolutions, and will move some controls to the bottom of the screen to help shorties (like me) who can't reach! Please let me know what you think.
