We’ve just bought a new set of text books, so I knew that I needed to get my scheme of work updated. It’s a lousy job and not one that I wanted to share so I’ve taken on the writing of the Key Stage 4 scheme and I’ve given Key Stage 3 to my second in department.

I’ve downloaded the exam board’s scheme and reordered it a bit to fit with the school timetable – I’ve also added in some of my favourite activities and a couple of activities that our NQT brought with her that she told me about over lunch a couple of weeks ago. I added the school’s logo too!

I’ve printed it out and given it to all Year 10 and 11 teachers with a sheet that they can annotate with any resources they’d like me to add. I’m not sure when I’ll get a chance to include them – I guess that’s a job that I’ll do next summer when I come to update the scheme.
