NCETM Annual Conference 2010 - Professor Celia Hoyles

Professor Celia Hoyles OBE, Director, NCETM

NCETM Director Celia Hoyles spoke to Conference about the Centre’s vision and the evidence of the considerable impact its work is having on both teachers and learners in the mathematics classroom. She outlined the many resources, communities and tools available to teachers of mathematics on the NCETM portal and the ways in which they have grown and developed over the last year, attracting many more users. Celia Hoyles also talked about the National Centre’s face-to-face meetings and events that enable to teachers to learn and share with colleagues and at the same time build productive communities that have a lasting, positive effect on both practice and pedagogy.
