Museums and Art Galleries

No school is likely to be too far from a museum or art gallery that is willing to share its artefacts with eager minds, often in the form of trails with a particular focus. Most will have ready prepared guides and challenges to suit particular age groups, or will support a teacher who is keen to develop a new quiz or questionnaire. From polyhedra to pyramids the specialised resources of local museums and galleries offer unique chances for pupils to interact with items normally beyond their experience.
