Developing the use of digital images in mathematics

A staff development workshop on using digital technologies for a group of teachers


This workshop aimed to enable delegates to:

  • consider why and how digital images might be used in the teaching and learning of mathematics
  • become familiar with methods of obtaining digital images, from a variety of sources, in a format that can be used with IWB and dynamic software
  • consider and practice how an image may be used in dynamic software to develop mathematical knowledge and understanding
