This time we focus on ‘child-initiated learning’ and try to dispel some of those myths around exactly how this should work in the classroom. Links to research, reports from ‘real’ classrooms and advice from the Tickell Review all contribute to a comprehensive overview.

R4U, Research for You
How ‘ready’ are your young pupils when they first join your school or setting in the autumn? Are they ready to learn…socialise…develop their thinking? Our research feature shows the many contributors towards this ‘readiness’. Are you doing all you can?
