Created on 23 October 2013 by ncetm_administrator
Updated on 09 April 2014 by ncetm_administrator

This resource, originally from Teachers TV, begins with a review of the properties of some quadrilaterals and triangles which are then related to the shapes which can be found in all aspects of the environment, described as looking at the world with a mathematical eye.

Access to this resource is for registered members only. Registration is quick and free.

Pirate Kate has lost her map and needs to find her hidden treasure, in this fun drama which provides an idea for use in Key Stage 2 maths lessons.

To find the buried treasure, primary pupils need to use their knowledge of geometry, degrees and angles.
