A ‘toolkit’ is available to guide departments in using the resource for professional development

This toolkit is designed to help users of this extensive resource understand quickly what it offers and how they might use it to support teacher-led, collaborative reflection and development of practice over time. The toolkit offers an overview of the resource and some suggested pathways through it – based on technology use or more general pedagogical issues. It also outlines a process of discussion, lesson planning, peer observation and feedback that several departments have found useful in our trials. The materials include a briefing sheet for senior managers and information about time and support requirements.

Download the toolkit (.pdf) here.

(Development of the toolkit was funded by NCETM and a full report of our trials can be downloaded from http://www.educ.cam.ac.uk/research/projects/istl)
