The National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics (the NCETM), which has been commissioned by the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) to develop a “Numeracy for Employability” strategy, was invited to lead workshops at the NRDC Skills for Life conferences* in York, Birmingham and London.

Participants in these one hour workshops were invited to discuss several issues (Learner Menu, Engagement, Capacity and Impact) which had been identified as important through earlier consultation exercises.

The full report can be viewed or downloaded in PDF format here.
