The Numeracy for Employability Strategy aims to ensure that, by 2020, at least 95% of of adults will have functional literacy and numeracy skills. At present, approximately one in three adults in the UK has difficulty with numbers.

This short leaflet - with a foreword by David Lammy, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Skills - provides some updates on the National Numeracy for Employability Strategy, and details a success story in a case study from Tower Hamlets College.
