Website of the week
With so many excellent sites available offering a wide range of activities and development materials, it is sometimes difficult to know which ones really are worth a visit. Each week we will feature one recommendation, and invite your comments too.

Murderous Maths
This week we are pleased to include another recommendation from one of our readers. Murderous Maths was recommended to us with particular reference to Desperate Measures and The laziest game in the world.

Our reader and her department took ideas from The laziest game in the world and adapted the content to produce some resources specific to the environment around the school.  The activity encouraged the students to make accurate estimations of distance, capacity and mass in teams with a competitive element.
