Question 1 of 11

1. How confident are you that you are fully familiar with:

a. National Curriculum requirements for Key Stage 4?

Example

Teachers are required by law to teach the content of the National Curriculum programme of study during the relevant key stage. You need to be fully familiar with the programme of study and the associated attainment targets and level descriptions so that you can plan appropriate lessons for your pupils.

There are also general teaching requirements that cover inclusion, use of language, ICT in the curriculum, and health and safety. The inclusion section has a specific statement on inclusion in mathematics which looks at the gifted and talented, those with special educational needs and disabilities, students who have English as a second language, and the different needs of boys and girls.
