Interests : I am the NCETM regional co-ordinator for the North West. I have worked in secondary mathematics teaching for the majority of my career; been Head of Maths in two schools and Assistant Headteacher. I worked as regional director for the Maths Enhancement Programme before becoming a freelance consultant working with secondary maths, behaviour management and Initial Teacher Training. I returned to the classroom in September 2005 for one year to keep my skills up to date and to keep me grounded in the reality of the classroom.
