Interests : I joined NCETM in June 2018 as Regional Lead in the East Midlands and Humber region. I act as the principal NCETM link to the Maths Hub leadership and management teams and work with key regional stakeholders, and representatives of national government programmes, to develop and support the implementation of a coherent strategy for mathematics school improvement in the region.

I have worked in mathematics education for over thirty years in schools, Local Authorities and as a consultant supporting schools in developing their mathematics engagement, enjoyment and attainment. Most recently, before starting my role with NCETM, I worked as an independent mathematics consultant in schools in England and Australia.

I am passionate about ensuring that children’s and young people’s mathematics experiences are positive, rich and lasting. I want to ensure that all providers of mathematics school improvement work together to make this happen.
