Towards Level 3 Mathematics: An ACME Discussion
The Advisory Committee on Mathematics Education (ACME) recently launched a paper designed to provoke discussion on the future of post-16 mathematics. This community aims to stimulate discussion on the paper and to collect your views on the proposals. ACME then intends to digest those views with the intention of producing a position statement in the spring 2010 on the issue of Level 3 mathematics.

WM local network - video resources to support mathematics CPD and ITE
A group of teachers and PGCE tutors is producing a DVD showing possible teacher responses to classroom scenarios which often challenge new teachers. We hope that watching extracts and discussing the different responses will encourage teachers to reflect critically upon the pros and cons of different responses. Join this community to discuss the scenarios and/or suggest new scenarios.
