Interests : I joined the NCETM in June 2018 as a Regional Lead working across the West Midlands and part of London. I act as the principal NCETM link to the Maths Hub leadership and management teams within my region. As part of the system leadership team I work with key regional stakeholders, to develop and support the implementation of a coherent strategy for mathematics school improvement in the region
After working in a variety of schools in a variety of roles I became Director of Mathematics for the City of Portsmouth and co-Director of the Portsmouth Teaching School -both roles having a clear strategic focus on school improvement. My last role before joining the NCETM was as Maths Hub Lead for the Solent Maths Hub.
My educational passion is 'closing the gap', supporting all pupils in achieving their Mathematical potential -regardless of starting point.
